The Code of Conduct has often served as the foundation for the compliance program. The trend now is to refresh the Code through more meaningful methodologies to ensure robust implementation and adherence. The obstacles to this process of “refreshment” can be many, ranging from cultural barriers to misalignment with third parties. What are companies doing now to evolve their Code, raise its profile, and re-introduce it to a community of stakeholders both inside and outside the company?
