As vice president, assistant general counsel and privacy officer at CA Technologies, Bonnie is responsible for helping CA comply with various regulatory requirements, primarily focusing on global data privacy compliance.
She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and has been a member of the Worldwide Law Department within CA Technologies since 1991, serving in various capacities, including software licensing, advertising, real estate, ethics and regulatory compliance.
Since 2004, Bonnie’s role as Privacy Officer at CA Technologies has included managing all matters relating to compliance with the worldwide data protection laws, and helping to ensure that the company and its employees understand and implement appropriate procedures and security for the protection of personal information.
Most recently, she has helped the company to achieve its highest level data privacy with the approval for its Binding Corporate Rules (BCR), a comprehensive data privacy and protection framework for the global transfer of personal data originating from the European Economic Area (EEA).
Prior to joining CA, Bonnie served as Associate Counsel at On-Line Software, which was acquired by CA in 1991. Before that, she was an attorney at New Jersey-based law firm Hartstein and Hartstein.
Bonnie graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations.
Bonnie is on the Advisory Board of GlamourGals Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire and organize teens to provide ongoing complimentary beauty makeovers and companionship to elderly women living in senior homes.
