James Vitrano currently serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Franchise Development and Operations for Ruby Tuesday. Ruby Tuesday, Inc. owns and franchises Ruby Tuesday over 700 Ruby Tuesday restaurants in 44 states, 12 foreign countries, and Guam, and 16 Lime Fresh restaurants in two states. Ruby Tuesday, Inc. is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (Symbol: RT).

Prior to Ruby Tuesday, James served as the General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc., the nation’s largest operator of bagel bakery restaurants. With over 700 restaurants in 39 states and nearly 8,000 employees, James was responsible for all legal aspects of the publicly traded company and its three brands.

Prior to joining Einstein’s, James was the General Counsel and Vice President for a New Orleans-based inland marine company operating over 125 vessels throughout the United States. Before joining the in-house ranks, he was a partner in private practice representing numerous clients in the health care, manufacturing and construction industries in the areas of litigation, corporate transactional work and governmental affairs.
