Peter Loftspring Peter Loftspring currently serves as Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Chief Compliance Manager for Black & Veatch Corporation, a global company based in Overland Park, Kansas. Revenues in 2013 were US$3.6 billion. Starting in 2011, Mr. Loftspring assumed responsibility for developing and implementing the company’s Ethics and Compliance Management Program. He has recently transitioned from managing legal support for 3 of the company’s operating divisions and 6 of company’s corporate divisions to assuming responsibility for the daily operations of the company’s compliance organization. In addition, he continues to provide legal support for special projects and is currently involved in an effort to streamline the company’s online contract management capabilities. Prior to joining Black & Veatch in 2006, Mr. Loftspring provided legal support and compliance guidance for a wide variety of domestic and international engineering and construction projects at Jacobs Engineering, Halliburton and, then sister company, Kellogg Brown & Root. His experience as a Chemical Engineer in the process industries prior to becoming a lawyer has given him a keen appreciation for and insight into the operations and the people he has supported over the years. He has advised and supported professionals from a large number of cultures, countries and continents and served as an expat in the UK for several years supporting operations in Russia and a number of countries from the Former Soviet Union, Western Europe and Africa.
