The Emory University Center for Ethics, an international leader in the exploration of contemporary and eternal ethical challenges, seeks to inspire and advance scholarship, education, and training in ethics, to ignite the moral imagination of leaders in all walks of life, and to foster lives of moral meaning and ethical engagement.

Generating and disseminating exemplary scholarship in the sciences, arts, humanities, and the professions that critically engages emerging and classical ethical debates and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration;.
- Creating and delivering innovative ethical curricula and training materials;
- Advising and consulting with governmental, not-for-profit, and corporate institutions to strengthen ethical reflection and encourage principled action;
- Offering programming addressing contemporary ethical and social challenges and providing a safe space for civil discussion and debate designed to elevate and improve public discourse.
